Neale Talks About Resistance

My dear friends...

Conversations with God said that what you resist persists. Often this is misunderstood to mean that we should accept everything that occurs or appears in our life without any attempt or determination to change it. Yet that is not what it means.

It is perfectly okay, in spiritual terms, to seek to change any circumstance, situation, or condition that arises in your life with which you do not agree. Here is the key point around all of this: Change is not resistance. To seek to...

A Letter to Neale

Dear Neale,

I am hoping the current issues in the news will compel you to address one of the basic ideas our country was founded on, the right to bear arms.  It seems there aren't many people 'on the fence' regarding this issue.  I am personally a pacifist, yet I don't have a solution to the problem of how to defend yourself against those with guns, without guns.  Ever been to 'neutral' Switzerland ?  Neutral by force, yet they are not killing each other in the streets.  What's the difference? ...

Neale Talks About the ABC's of CwG!

My dear friends...

How simple is the message of Conversations with God? It is as simple as A-B-C. Here is something that I woke up with in my head one morning...

A ll things are One Thing. There is only One Thing, and All Things are part of the One Thing that is.

B etter is an illusion. Nothing is better than anything else.

C all on Me whenever and wherever you seek the Peace that I Am. I will be there.

D o unto others as you would have it done unto you.

E very act is an act of self defini...

A Letter to Neale

Dear Neale Donald Walsch:

I have so many questions regarding
CwG , but I think I'll just ask one at this time. I don't recall reading anything about forgiveness. Did God in this conversation mention forgiveness, since forgiveness is such a large issue in Christianity? Also, your format is very similar to A Course In Miracles, in which forgiveness is almost everything. This book has helped me tremendously so far, although it really has scared me in many ways. I appreciate all of your efforts.

Neale Talks About Historology...

My dear friends...

There is no greater thing that we can do in all this world than to give people back to themselves. That was the original mission of the ReCreation Foundation, and it is, in fact, why I called the foundation "ReCreation."

I got very clear in the moments after my Conversations with God experience that what the material had done was give me back to myself. I also got very clear that this is what it was inviting me to do for others. I was, in fact, being invited to do this for t...

A Letter to Neale

Dear Neale...

A question: Are we just here as highly evolved animals trying to put a "grander" meaning to things when there is none?

Every time there is a tragic event I attempt to apply these spiritual lessons I've had or book I've read to make sense of it, to comfort me. I must honestly say it doesn't always work--neither the sense of it, nor the comfort.  You start to question, "What am I doing? What does it all really mean?" Is there a G ift  O f D ivinity (GOD) in all this??"

Did God jus...

Neale Talks About the Circle of Life...

My dear friends...

All through my life I have been afraid.   Fear has ruled much of my experience.   I learned to be afraid as a little child.   I was taught to be afraid by my parents and others in my environment.

I learned to be afraid of the things that my parents were afraid of.   I learned to be afraid of the things that my family was afraid of.   I learned to be afraid of the things that the people around me and in my culture and in my country were afraid of.   I became afraid of those t...

A Letter to Neale

Dear Mr. Walsch,

Thank you for the gift of your book to the world.   I recently borrowed a copy of The New Revelations from my local public library.

I have found your philosophies to be both insightful and challenging.   I find much within it with which my heart concurs. I would, however, seek to take issue with you on a fundamental point.   You state that it is not necessary to reject old beliefs in order to transcend them.   I find this difficult to accept.

From a Christian perspective, d...

A Letter to Neale

 Hi Neale.

I'm 18 years old. My mom and dad divorced when I was about 6 years old and a few years later, my mom met another man. I'll call him Bill.

My mom, me, and my brother were not well off and Bill not only helped us financially but also took us all over the country traveling. Two years ago, they finally married.

About two months ago, my mom was looking for something in the garage and she found a receipt for a pinhole spy camera. It turned out that there was a camera in the vent in my ba...

Neale Talks About God Not Caring - Part Two

My dear friends...

You will recall that last week in this space we discussed the True Nature of God as Pure Intelligence, a point I made in a talk in Tokyo. This led one member of my audience to say...

"When I first read Conversations with God I was very touched because it allowed me to believe in a God who was personal, a God who loved me. Now I am confused. You have just described a God who is not even a person or a being, and who doesn't care what I do or how my life turns out.

"I feel des...
