10 Tools Creating The Holy Experience

My dear friends,

As you know if you are a regular reader of The Weekly Bulletin, we have often explore an encounter with Life that I have called The Holy Experience. Through the years many people have written to me asking about how they might have such an experience.

This week I want to share with you that I seem to have stumbled upon Ten Instruments or tools with which one might build a platform, or an environment, for the Holy Experience. That’s the best way I can answer the question, “How can...

A Letter to Neale

Reader question:

Dear Neale...

I've been with you all along, since you published your first CwG book. I've been to your retreats, read your newsletters and all of your books.

And your newsletters have always been good. I look forward to receiving them and they positively impact my life each and every time I open one. I often share them with friends.

Lately, they seem to have a new depth and clarity — a clarity full of understanding and longing in each and every word. I feel as if your jour

A Letter to Neale

Reader Question:

Dear Neale...Why can't everyone have their own "conversation with God," just the way you did? If this is so easy, why doesn't everyone do it? Sorry if I sound like a skeptic, but...

Pamela L., Indianapolis, Indiana

Neale Responds

My Dear Pamela...it is very okay even if you are a "skeptic." I ask no one to accept my experience without looking into it deeply. Here is one problem I see that stops people from having their own Conversation with God...

We have apparently d

Love or Fear?

My dear friends...

Why is life turning out the way it is turning out? Why is love so often so hard to find, and then to keep? Why is goodness and kindness and compassion and even a smiling face sometimes so hard to find in our day-to-day experience? Must our lives consist of drama, drama, and more drama day in and day out?

I get asked questions like these a lot, and as I turn to the Conversations with God dialogues to find answers, here is some of what I uncover, in these words from God:

The Time Has Come!

My dear friends...

The time has come...for all of humanity to decide Who and What we Really Are, and Who and What we Choose To Be in relationship to that, and how we wish to demonstrate that in our world.

The time has come...for leadership to emerge in every city, town, and village on the globe, in every time and place, in the form of brave and strong and wise individuals, ready to receive the call, prepared to make whatever sacrifice is required, anxious to get on with the task, and determin...

Reader Question:

Hi Neale, Everywhere I look I see people exhibiting behaviors that are destroying our planet...yet they seem to have no awareness of the consequences of their actions. What is this about, do you think? Are people really that uncaring?
GWM, Houston, TX.

Neale Responds

No, I do not believe that people, at their basis, are uncaring. But there is another condition at play here. I believe it is as it was written in Communion with God...

Many humans continue to see themselves...

What is true for you?

"God says, 'You may not have what you want'."

When I first encountered those words in Conversations with God-Book 1, I remember thinking, "Wait a minute! That's exactly the opposite of what all religions teach. Religions teach that even before you ask, you will be answered. They teach that God is ready, willing, and able to fulfill all of our desires, if we will but ask. And they teach that if God does not grant us our wishes and answer our prayers, it is because of some higher good or reason, ...

A Letter to Neale

Mr. Walsch, Thank you for your wonderful books. I have one question. It concerns the story in the Bible where Jesus curses the fig tree because it doesn't bear fruit. I don't understand why he would do this, because it also says that it wasn't the season for the tree to bear figs. The fig tree example must be there for a reason, but what?

For a long time this story has seemed to represent to me what seems a certain capriciousness on the part of Jesus/God, which perhaps refers to how man feels....

Gratitude is the Attitude

Each morning when I awaken I try to remember to say a little prayer. It is the same prayer that I have been saying to myself for many years now.

Thank you, God, for another day, and another chance to be my Highest Self. Thank you for this life and for the wonder of this moment. Thank you for everything that has ever happened to me, is happening now, and ever will happen. For all of it has produced the perfection of this next breath, and the glory of Who I Am now going to be. Amen, and amen.

A Letter to Neale

Dear Neale,

In CwG, God says we can't define God. If not, how do we know that God is love? Also, why did God want to know Himself? I have gotten used to the idea that God is love and light and truth and abundance, etc. But to some people, love is defined differently. If the only love they've known is limited and self-serving, how can they know that love is understanding and forgiveness and non-judgment? My brother-in-law thinks that love is disciplining, that God is a disciplinarian. He is comf...
