Reader Question:
Dear Neale,
My question is: If I had to choose one of the 9 books in the CwG series to give to someone else as an introduction to this material, which one should it be? Recently I had someone ask me, "What is all this about? What are you 'into'?", and I wanted to share one of the books with them, but I couldn't decide which one would be best, or would give them the best idea, of what Conversations with God was all about. What's you choice? You must get asked this question a ...
Reader Question:
Dear Neale,
I have read the CWG books 1-3, and also the book "Home with God." I am 24 years old and have been with my boyfriend for almost nine years. He is the love of my life, my best friend, and my most cherished gift in this life.
Several months ago, I started having these uncontrollable fears that he might somehow die. I started phoning him to make sure he was safe at school, and started worrying all the time about his safety. Up until this point, these worries about...
Reader Question:
Dear Mr. Walsch,
Thank you for your wonderful books. I have one question. It concerns the story in the Bible where Jesus curses the fig tree because it doesn't bear fruit. I don't understand why he would do this, because it also says that it wasn't the season for the tree to bear figs. The fig tree example must be there for a reason, but what?
For a long time this story has seemed to represent to me what seems a certain capriciousness on the part of Jesus/God, which perh...
Reader question:
Dear Neale...
I've been with you all along, since you published your first CwG book. I've been to your retreats, read your newsletters and all of your books.

And your newsletters have always been good. I look forward to receiving them and they positively impact my life each and every time I open one. I often share them with friends.Â

Lately, they seem to have a new depth and clarity — a clarity full of understanding and longing in each and every word. I feel as if your jour...
Reader Question:
Dear Neale...Why can't everyone have their own "conversation with God," just the way you did? If this is so easy, why doesn't everyone do it? Sorry if I sound like a skeptic, but...
Pamela L., Indianapolis, Indiana
Neale Responds
My Dear Pamela...it is very okay even if you are a "skeptic." I ask no one to accept my experience without looking into it deeply. Here is one problem I see that stops people from having their own Conversation with God...
We have apparently d...
Reader Question:
Hi Neale, Everywhere I look I see people exhibiting behaviors that are destroying our planet...yet they seem to have no awareness of the consequences of their actions. What is this about, do you think? Are people really that uncaring?
GWM, Houston, TX.
Neale Responds
No, I do not believe that people, at their basis, are uncaring. But there is another condition at play here. I believe it is as it was written in Communion with God...
Many humans continue to see themselves...

Dear Neale,
In CwG, God says we can't define God. If not, how do we know that God is love? Also, why did God want to know Himself? I have gotten used to the idea that God is love and light and truth and abundance, etc. But to some people, love is defined differently. If the only love they've known is limited and self-serving, how can they know that love is understanding and forgiveness and non-judgment? My brother-in-law thinks that love is disciplining, that God is a disciplinarian. He is comf...
 Dear Neale,
Your book says there is no such thing as “right” and “wrong”. What about “good” and “evil?” Is there true evil in the world?
RJL, CA.
Neale Responds
Yes, there is, RJL, and we must be grateful for it. Evil is the greatest gift God ever allowed us to give ourselves.
Re-read the Conversations with God books very closely and you will understand why.
For now, this gentle and loving thought...fight not evil with evil, and neither condemn it. Rather, bless it and see it for what ...
Dear Mr. Walsch,
Thank you for being the vehicle through which the CwG material has been transmitted to the rest of the world. It has been said that many are called but few are chosen. Clearly you have been one who has been chosen, or perhaps it is more correct to say you are one who chose. It’s also been said that it is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness. Well, my friend, the light from your candle has already touched over a million souls…and you have only just begun.
Basic...
