A Letter to Neale

Dear Neale,

I've been with you all along, since you published your first CwG book.  I've been to your retreats, read your newsletters and all of your books.

And your newsletters have always been good. I look forward to receiving them and they positively impact my life each and every time I open one.  I often share them with friends.

Lately, they seem to have a new depth and clarity---a clarity full of understanding and longing in each and every word.  I feel as if your journey has reached some new plateau and you are bringing me with you, for when I read your words, I feel the same longing to breathe God into my day in the way that you do.   Thank you for this.   In my busy life, your newsletters are often the only spiritual drink I get each week---- a truth that I must seek to change.   I am reminded that I must "wake up" when I read your words of late---that I must fill a fountain with my longing and strive to achieve the sense of wonder and deep need that matches the tone of your beautiful letters.

I am awed and inspired by your journey.

My husband and I just watched the CwG movie.  Once again, thank you for sharing your message with us.  And I thank myself for bringing your message into my life.

Much Love,

Margot

Neale Responds

My dear Margot...

Thank you for your wonderful note. I am deeply touched in the knowing that a small contribution I am making has brought benefit to you in your life. I am very grateful to you for taking the time and for having the kindness to tell me about it.

I only wish, Margot, that I could make the kind of progress on my path that I yearn to experience. Still, if I can just be patient with myself, I can savor the growth that I have achieved, and appreciate myself for it. Your words help me to put all of this into context. And so once again, thank you.

with love,
