It's the Biggest Election of your Life

NOTE: The Weekly Bulletin is sent free of charge to anyone who asks for it. It is a publication of the ReCreation Foundation, a non-profit organization undertaking the work of sharing the message of Conversations with God with the world. That message is that the purpose of life is to recreate ourselves anew in the next grandest version of the greatest vision ever we held about Who We Are.

My dear friends...

I have only one thing to say this week, and that's: DO NOT FAIL TO VOTE IN THIS ELECTION.

I'm sure you have no intention of skipping this election, or letting anything get in your way. And in case you haven't visited the CWG website recently, here is a link to a video message there, from me, about this same subject...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ah2xKMce-4M

But now, let me tell you about the biggest election of all; the biggest election of your life. It is the part of YOU that you are going to elect to preside over your Unites States of Being.

You are composed of many states of being. Sometimes you are divided from yourself, conflicted within. At other times you feel very integrated, very "together." This is when you experience your States of Being as being United. What part of your United States of Being do you want to have precedence? What aspect of your Divine Self do you choose to manifest at the highest level in your day-to-day experience?

Cast your vote. Is it your wisdom? Is it your patience? Is it your compassion? Is it your creativity, your courage, your understanding? What part of God do you vote for now? Remember, what you cast your ballot for is what will make Itself manifest in your reality.

And just how do you cast your ballot? With every thought, word, and deed that proceeds from you this day. When something occurs in your outer world, you elect to feel a certain way. You elect to feel frightened, you elect to feel apprehensive, you elect compassion or acceptance or anger or confidence or caring or joy or whatever else it is that you are feeling in response to outward stimuli.

You elect, in exactly the same way, to feel whatever you feel in reaction and response to your own thoughts. You have a thought, then you respond to it – almost as if it were the thought or the word of another.

So what are you electing today? What are you choosing?

Don't miss this election! Go to the polling place (your mind) today and mark your ballot.

And on Tuesday, if you live in the United States of America, go to the outer polling place and do not, under any circumstances, miss casting your vote in this 2008 General Election. There are a lot of things that Democrats and Republicans disagree on, but one thing they agree on absolutely: This is one of the most important elections of the past 75 years. It is not one that any of us can afford to miss.

Statistics show that somewhere between 45 and 55 per cent of eligible Americans actually vote. This election season, officials in most states are expecting to top that – to perhaps get all the way up to 60 or 65%. That would be wonderful. What would be even more wonderful would be if we could get closer to 100%.

Why should that be so difficult, do you think? Why should that be so hard?

Make it happen. In your household, at least, MAKE IT HAPPEN.

In love and light...

Neale.

With all the political talk about "Change, Hope and Peace", it only seems appropriate to host a community event that inspires just that! An evening that focuses on the gifts disguised as "crisis," just waiting to be unwrapped only to discover new possibilities and tools to rebuild a more functional foundation for today, our future and for the generations that follow.

Unity Church of Dallas and Free 2 B U Empowerment Programs invite you to attend a benefit lecture featuring Neale, who will speak from his newest book, When Everything Changes, CHANGE EVERYTHING, to be published in April. Neale will explore new ways to navigate life by bringing a spiritual perspective to your world.

Join Neale as he answers life's most compelling questions about where we are and where we are heading. Learn how taking a more proactive approach toward these historic times-of-change can bring you a greater sense of well-being, enhance the quality of your life, and transform a grander vision of our world into reality.

The inspiration doesn't stop there. Join Scott Murray, DFW's own Emmy Award-winning Sportscaster, as the evening's Celebrity Emcee. There'll be music, poetry entertainment and raffle giveaways. Lucky participants who attend the VIP Reception prior to the benefit lecture will get to spend an entire hour in close up conversation with Neale while enjoying a delectable gourmet dinner buffet catered by the highly acclaimed Wendy Krispin Caterer, plus receive priority seating at the lecture.

The best news of all is, by attending this transformational evening you will be making a worthy contribution toward a great cause! All proceeds from this event will benefit Free 2 B U Empowerment Programs, a Dallas-based non-profit organization, Co-Directed by Louise Kimbrel and Angel Carlton.

Free 2 B U has created the first-of-its-kind Family Empowerment Kit as part of the program of the School of the New Spirituality. The Kit provides fun-filled and interactive ways to demonstrate spiritual principles at home, practice the freedom of true, authentic self-expression and experience new ways of looking at life. Because, whether you live on your own or have a family of your own, peace truly does begin at home.

This special event will be held Wednesday, November 12 at Unity Church of Dallas located at 6525 Forest Lane in Dallas, TX. The benefit lecture begins at 7p.m. and tickets are only $25 per person.

There are still VIP Reception tickets available if you wish to spend an hour with Neale Donald Walsch in a more intimate atmosphere. The VIP tickets are $100 each, which includes dinner and priority seating at the lecture. Online registration is requested. Ticket prices double at the door.

A Youth Playshop and childcare is available during the lecture for only $5 per child. Advance playshop/childcare reservations are required so that the organizers know how much help to have on hand. Reservations may be made by calling Unity Church at (972) 233-7106 ext. 255.

To purchase tickets for this event visit
www.Free2bu.com or visit the Unity Church Bookstore.

What if the words "God" and "life" are interchangeable? Wouldn't that make for an extraordinary spiritual cosmology?

The implications are--if it's possible to imagine this--more than enormous. They're staggering, earth shaking, paradigm-shattering. This is because everyone knows what is true about life. Everyone may not know what is true about God, but everyone knows what is true about life.

What is true about life is that nothing stands outside of life. Nothing exists without life, and life does not exist if nothing exists.

You are the expression of life itself. So is everything around you. Even so-called inanimate objects are found, when examined under a microscope, to consist of particles constantly in motion. These particles and their movements are all part of life. Indeed, everything in the observable universe is life, in some form.

The existence of life is confirmed by life itself. Life is self-referencing, self-confirming, self-sustaining, and self-evident. Life is the evidence of the existence of life.

Not only does everyone know these things, everyone agrees with these things. What makes what is being said here so dangerous is what happens when the word "God" is inserted where the word "life" appears. That produces this result:

Nothing stands outside of God. Nothing exists without God, and God does not exist if nothing exists.

You are the expression of God itself. So is everything around you. Even so-called inanimate objects are found, when examined under a microscope, to consist of particles constantly in motion. These particles and their movements are all part of God. Indeed, everything in the observable universe is God, in some form.

The existence of God is confirmed by God itself. God is self-referencing, self-confirming, self-sustaining, and self-evident. God is the evidence of the existence of God.

Do you see the problem now? Those three paragraphs cause all the paragraphs in all the other books about God to fall apart. Everything crumbles. Not just a few of our beliefs about God, but the very basis upon which we have built so much of human society. It all comes tumbling down.

The wonderful thing about this, the exciting thing, is that we get to recreate ourselves anew, and rebuild our human society--and that is exactly what is going on right now. Humanity is in the process of rebuilding itself, and a natural part of that process calls upon humanity to take itself apart, at least a little, until enough of the disassembled pieces are lying before us that we can see how they might fit together in a new way. It's all part of the process of evolution.

A huge part of that process is our renewed exploration of this whole idea of God, and of our thoughts about What God Wants. If in fact the words "God" and "life" are describing the same thing...well, we have some major, major theological implications here.

Do we need more evidence of the existence of life than life itself? No. And what does life want? Nothing. Life simply is.

Life is an energy, a power, to be used. And it is being used, freely, by all. It has no expectations, no desires, no demands, no requirements, no need to be worshipped and no need to punish those who fail to worship it. Life is a singular and unemotional reality. Life is the creator, and it's that which has been created.

Life is the source of life, and it's That Which Has Been Sourced. Life produces life, and life informs life about life through the process of life itself.

Life is, in a few words, the Alpha and the Omega, the All in All. There is nothing that IS that It is not.

If this is not the definition of God, then what is?

(The above is an excerpt from the book What God Wants (Atria Books).
