CwG Weekly Bulletin #160: The Time Has Come Week of My dear
friends... This is Part 2
of a multi-part communication. For Part 1, see last week's Bulletin, (#159). And so we ask,
what in the world is going on here? And, if we truly are creating all of
this...then WHY? And HOW? Now, on to other
things for this week.
--- NDW Now, let's see what else is in this week's
Bulletin... This
Week’s Bulletin Topics: - The Time Has Come - What Does It All Mean? - Upcoming Events - Questions and Comments
from CwG Readers
The Time Has Come “The time has come for you to have more courage than any war has ever called upon you for, than any hardship has ever demanded, than even suffering has ever required. The time has come for you to confront yourself at
the level of belief. The reason this will require so much courage is that your beliefs form the basis of who you think
you are. You must challenge yourself. You must challenge your society. You must challenge your world. You must collectively ask: Is this who we are? Is this who we choose to be? Is this the only way we can live? Is this the only way we know how to behave? Is it possible there might be another way? Might this other way bring us closer to what we
say, as a species, that we really want? Are we missing something here? Do we have the courage to seriously look at what
that might be? Do we have the courage to accept the answer that
our searching uncovers?” - The New Revelations, page 312 What Does It All Mean? What meaning does
all that has happened to you in your life have? It means exactly
what you want it to mean. By that, I am
trying to convey a large message and the grandest truth contained in CwG, which is that you are the creator
of your own reality, and events in and of themselves mean nothing at all. In CwG, Book 2 God said to me “I have sent you
nothing but angels,” and I understand that to mean that we might perfectly
express and perfectly experience the perfect creation of who we now choose to
be. Therefore, the question at hand is not what does all of this mean, but what
do you choose for it to mean, and
what do you choose for yourself to be
in relationship to it? - NDW Upcoming Events It’s not too early to make your plans… Our Annual in

and Comments from CwG Readers Dear
Neale...What is the role, do you think, of a spiritual messenger? I have been
watching your life from a distance, and observing the commentaries that you
offer, and they bring up this question for me. I mean this question sincerely,
not snidely. Thank you for addressing it. Geraldine,
from ====== ====== Neale... We all have
opinions....you included; use your website to pull your fellow readers
and followers together...give us optimism; we don't need
you to tell us what the President is doing wrong!!..Encourage us to move
forward...to move upward...to go forth and clean up the mess and help one
another. Help us to help ourselves...get our country in shape....be
proactive...not another site that pooh-poohs our president!!...Enough
already!! You want to lobby your thoughts, go ahead...but don't try to
lobby your thought about politics to me!! The president
is not the problem...your reactions are...read your Book 1 again!! Max Dear Max...Thank
you for your communication. I appreciate very much hearing from you. Max, may I
ask a question? What if I do think that the president is the problem -- or, at
least, a part of it? Moving forward and cleaning up the mess, Max, sometimes
has to involve noticing how the mess was made, no?. Even Jesus said to the
Pharisees..."You vipers! You hypocrites!" I do not agree with you,
Max, that the ONLY ROLE OF A SPIRITUAL MESSENGER is to ignore the cause of
problems. But I am exploring this whole question of my role, so I do thank you
for giving me a chance to look at this again. A true
messenger, it feels to me, Max, must do more than simply keep looking
the other way, talking only about what it will require to clean up the latest
mess. A true messenger must also point out how the mess got created, so as to
avoid it in the future. That is what every conservative, fundamentalist pastor
from every pulpit did during the last election campaign. They had a right to do
that. Indeed, a duty. And I respect that. I ENCOURAGED that. I sure do
wish that you and the others would respect my right and my duty to do
exactly the same thing. I wish you could
find it in your heart to encourage me to do what I encouraged those
conservative ministers to do --- even when and if you do not agree with all
of my views, just as I do not agree with theirs. We need more ACTIVIST
spiritual messengers, not more passive ones, Max. On BOTH sides of every
question. Max, Max.... CwG
says, "Politics is your spirituality, DEMONSTRATED." I am looking
very closely these days at how a true spiritual messenger lives that idea from CwG.
Love and
hugs....Neale. ====== ====== Dear Neale ~ I love
receiving the As I skim
over the letters about politics, Bush, Katrina, etc. I try to recognize and
accept that everything that has occurred, the seemingly positive and seemingly
negative is also a part of me, since we are all One. And, I turn to Colin
Tipping's book, "Radical Forgiveness", about which you have written
praise, to heal any judgment I may have. It helps me see that Bush and
any other politician or person who seems to have done wrong, is merely serving
as an angel to reflect all the same energy that exists in each of us. So,
as I am grateful to you, Neale, for reflecting the Light and Love we are all
trying to remember, I am as equally grateful to George Bush for reflecting our
pain, violence and neglect, so that we may face these emotions and heal them,
once and for all. It is all perfect and beautiful. Be well, My dear
friend...I do not consider an observation to be a judgment. I am, however,
growing more and more impatient with those who in every situation and
circumstance, no matter how dire or urgent, want to do a "new age
bypass" and never, EVER say anything about the emperor wearing no clothes.
Uh, excuse me folks...but, uh, well, you see, uh...how do I put this...? Oh
heck, I'll just have to say it: The emperor is wearing no clothes. Hugs, neale. ====== ====== In Response to Jan in Bulletin #159 Dear Neale, Regarding
your exchange with Jan (of Continued
Blessings, Howard ( Thank you,
Howard, for saying that. I have tried always to be my authentic self.
Hugs...neale. ====== ====== Dear Neale, I was
compelled to write because I was surprised at the tone and content of Jan's
letter posted in bulletin #159. I am confused by the request that she and
others make that "you please keep your political opinions to yourself
and focus on your "writings" from God." To me, you have always
been very open and honest in telling people that they are free to agree with
you or not agree with you in any and all of the opinions and views
that you express. How can someone not express political opinions if one is
trying to effectively change the world for the better?! Changing the world for
the better is intimately tied to changing the politics that fail the majority
of people and favor only a small portion of people. As others have stated,
politics are part of ones beliefs demonstrated and acted out. It also strikes
me that someone can be so defensive of George Bush, whose ego obviously guides
most every decision he seems to make and at the same time attacks you by saying
you should put your ego aside! To me, it shows a misunderstanding of what
"ego" is. I also don't
understand how Jan can write about "elite democrats" when the
Bush Administration has done more to enact policies that help the wealthy at
the expense of the poor. There are plenty of "elite Republicans" who
defend the President because he helps them much more than he helps the poor.
The evidence is obvious in the rising number of people who are falling below
the poverty line. When Jan speaks of "your ill attempt to make the rest of
us feel guilty if we have money"(?) and "your absurd political
beliefs", how is that not her own ego talking? I know my
perceptions are much more in line with yours Neale though I feel like I can
understand how and why people tend to misinterpret things you
say. Words can be easily misunderstood. You have been a wonderful
inspiration to me and what you have said about giving, I find inspiring.
It seems to me that if someone is moved to feel "guilt" over things
you have said, then that person does not fully grasp the deep meaning of your
messages. Again, I just
felt compelled to write because I am often surprised at the venomous response
of Bush supporters when they perceive anything less than support
of Bush, regardless of the awful and dangerous mistakes he has proven he
can/does make. Thank you for not being afraid to speak up when so many
other people are afraid to do just that because of the type of
response they could get from those who don't always fully
understand or appreciate what they have to say! Love,
Jane Thank you, Jane,
for sending us your comments. Hugs...neale. ====== ====== I could have
not said it better. I could also give a lot of arguments - like George Bush pleaded
with the Gov. of LA the night before Katrina hit to let him declare martial
law, but she said she needed 24 hours to make up her mind - like it is illegal
for the federal gov't to go into any state without being invited, and they were
not, not by the Gov. nor the mayor of N.O. But - SO WHAT!' You need to
go back and ask God about your anger at the government. Or maybe read your
books again. I love your
books. They are so inspired. We should hate no one. Martha in You are right,
Martha. We should hate no one. And I certainly do not hate my President. But I
do believe that it is perfectly okay to criticize him when he does something I
do not agree with, or when he fails to act as I may have wished that he would
have. Surely it is okay for all Americans to agree and to disagree with their
elected officials without being accused of hating them, don't you think? I
don't think that YOU hate ME, just because you have criticized me. Golly, let's
have a dialogue here, Martha. Dialogues are okay. Criticism is perfectly all
right. It is what has kept the political conversation going in our country
since 1776. Do you think it would be okay with you if we
continued? Hugs....neale. ====== ====== Dear Neale, You are
George Bush. As am I. If we are
truly One, then to cast blame outward would be a fruitless task, since there’s
nothing out there. And you have to admit that your rhetoric was inflammatory:
“…lame, limp, and impotent...” (#159) are not adjectives used by a loving
spouse, nor are they found in the pen of a non-angry person. One does not use
the dreaded impugning manhood adjectives unless in anger or cruelty. So
apparently you’re angry at yourself for being dumb as a stump, for caring
little for the poor, and having zero imagination. Plus it seems that you may be
nothing but a front guy for conservative moneyed interests. As am I. One might
wonder if righteous anger is the best response to colossal blundering,
especially when it’s been done by oneself. Changes must be made. You are right,
they absolutely must – or they will be made for us. But vilification may not be
our best tool for effecting positive change. In my opinion, there’s already too
much acrimony flying back and forth between people who don’t agree. If we’re
not careful, we could end up focusing more on the blame than on
prospective solutions that will serve all of us, both conservatives and commie
pinko fags like you. (Just kidding…using some of your own
rhetorical technique on you, so that you can ponder whether it’s an
approach the goodwill ambassador of unity theology may want to maintain.) One Tom,
Broomfield CO Dear Tom....The
word "impotent" and the others are used in many more contexts than
simply "impugning manhood." And, while I appreciate your attempt
at humor, your use of the term "commie pinko fags" as a comparative
to my own words tells me almost more than I want to know about your innermost
attitudes and state of mind. The fact that we are all One, Tom,
certainly does not mean that we are not permitted, under New Age Ground
Rules, to ever, ever make a critical observation of another human being. Jesus
himself made many such critical observations of humans. Read your Bible. At one
point he even made a scourge out of rope and drove the money-changers out
of the temple. If HE can be that angry at social conditions, and express it
publicly, my mild commentary places me in pretty darn good company, wouldn't
you say, Tom? Hugs to you, my friend. neale. ====== ====== Your response
to Jan was perfect. I love you, Neale. Well, gosh,
thank you. ndw ====== ====== Dear Neale, While reading
the response you gave Jan in the bulletin I sat there and literally nodded my
head in agreement. I agree with you totally as do many others, I'm sure,
and am so thankful that you have the strength and opportunity to be the voice
for so many of us. I look forward to these bulletins and your
books. You are so right, they just seem to show up when I need them the
most. Your plans
for Creative Education are perfect. They should have the same classes
available for grown ups too! I am using these messages in raising my
two children so thank you once again for putting the information in my hands
when I needed it most. With love, Brenda, Well, Brenda, I
appreciate your sending your comments to me. Thank you. Hugs...neale. ====== ====== Wowee!
Someone lit a fire under Neale! Finally, some
passion in his response! Some fire! You go,
Neale. Prove that
you're as human as the rest, as human as Jesus. Some people
take themselves way too seriously. After all, this is just Life,
right? We're all in the backyard playing - God knows we can't really hurt
ourselves or each other. . . On the
politics is Spirituality demonstrated front - I have to admit, I voted
for Pres. Bush the first time around. But, he lost me in a hurry when he
brought on the Former
President Bush dropped the ball after Hurricane Andrew - he should have been
down to These
catastrophes are opportunities for growth and for uniting. We aren't
watching other people on TV, we are looking in a mirror. We
were in the Super Dome, starving, thirsting, raping. We were in
the 9th Ward unable to leave, watching what little we owned drown in
water. We were on the Interstates seeking gasoline, food and
shelter, lending a helping hand to others when we could. We are them
and they are us. Now the
question is, what are we going to do to help us? Keep callin'
the game, Neale. Someone has
to . . . Candis Dear Candis...Thank
you for your comments. I do think that the times call for all spiritual leaders
and messengers---"conservative" and "liberal" and
"moderate" and otherwise---to allow their voices to be heard. Love,
